
RELOCATION SERVICES AGREEMENT
In _______________, on _______________ 2024. There appear:
AS PARTY OF THE FIRST PART: Mr./Mrs. _______________, passport _______________, mobile _______________, domiciled at _______________, email _______________, hereinafter referred to as the “Contracting Party”.
AS PARTY OF THE SECOND PART: Aldo NETTO, ID 1.234.567-8, mobile (+598) 98 863 735, email nettoaldo2@gmail.com, domiciled at Río Negro 1544, Apartment 110, Montevideo, Department of Montevideo, Uruguay, RUT [Taxpayer Registry #] 150624560018, hereinafter the “Contractor” or by his name, agree to enter into a professional services agreement to be governed by the following clauses:
FIRST: Subject matter: The Contracting Party hereby hires Aldo Netto, who hereby accepts to perform Relocation Services that include the following:
- Legal residence
- Digital Nomad Permit
- Identity card
- Registration of foreign birth certificate at the DGREC [National Vital Statistics Office]
- Registration of sole proprietorship company
- To enter into utility service contracts with ANTEL [telephone], UTE [electricity] and OSE [water]
- STM and CODESA bus passes
- Driver’s License
- Registration at a mutualista [private HMO]
- Opening a bank account
- Pet imports
- Firearms acquisition and possession authorization (THATA) + Carrying permit.
- Legal citizenship
- Passport
- Interpreting and/or consulting to interact with professionals and civil servants.
SECOND: Term.
Contractor commits to carry out the proceedings in the shortest possible time, and shall not be liable for bureaucratic delays, stoppages or strikes in the corresponding public or private offices.
THIRD: Professional Fees.
Contracting Party shall pay the Contractor a fee:
Eight hundred twenty US dollars plus Value Added Tax of twenty-two percent (USD 820 + 22% VAT USD 180), i.e. a total of USD one thousand (USD 1000).
FOURTH: Payment conditions
The agreed amount shall be paid as follows: today, a first payment of four hundred and ninety-two US dollars; and the balance of three hundred twenty-eight USD dollars shall be paid together with the delivery of the identity card issued as legal resident. From the date of issue, payment must be made the following day or within a maximum of three business days. Payment must be made by money transfer through Moneygram or Abitab, to the contractor’s ID number indicated in the personal data above.
FIFTH: Expenses to be borne by CONTRACTING PARTY
At the entire expense of contractor:
To obtain Vital Records Certificates, Notarial Certificates, stamps or any lawyers, notaries, accounts, etc. fees (and the corresponding VAT) as it may be necessary to hire in order to carry out each of the proceedings or formalities described herein as Subject Matter, until their completion.
SIXTH: Expenses to be borne by the CONTRACTOR.
The costs of photocopies shall be borne exclusively by the CONTRACTOR. Should there be any translation costs into the Contracting Party’s language, these shall be borne by the Contractor. Contractor shall choose the Sworn Translator.
SEVENTH: Obligations of the CONTRACTOR.
- To keep the Contracting Party informed about the progress of the proceedings.
- Dates scheduled to attend the corresponding office.
- Delivery of documentation at the end of the procedure.
- Reservation of personal data.
EIGHTH: Obligations of the Contracting Party.
In addition to paying to the Contractor on time, the Contracting Party commits to sign all documentation necessary for the completion of the procedure.
NINTH. Breach of contract by the Contracting Party:
The non-fulfilment by the Contracting Party as regards on time payment of fees to the Contractor, at termination of contract, shall generate a default interest of 0.5% per month on the amount due and its payment shall only one together with said owed amount, plus currency exchange update if agreed in Uruguayan pesos.
In the event of deciding to interrupt the procedure in whole or in part, the Contractor shall not return any amount paid up to that moment by the Contracting Party.
TENTH. Arrears.
Arrears in the fulfillment of the obligations shall occur by operation of law, without having to recourse to any judicial or extrajudicial interpellation whatsoever, by the mere expiry of the terms agreed and the mere fact of doing or not doing something contrary to what has been set forth.
ELEVENTH: Competent Jurisdiction.
The jurisdiction of the Courts of Maldonado and the application of Uruguayan Law is agreed.
TWELFTH. Domiciles and Notices.
The parties set as their domiciles those indicated in the introduction hereof and accept that a TCCPC certified telegram shall be the authentic means of communication between them.
THIRTEENTH: In witness whereof, the parties have executed the contract in two counterparts in the place and on the date hereof.
