
The issuance of a Uruguayan apostille for a Uruguayan document or a legalization for a certification from a Uruguayan Embassy at jurisdictions that aren’t members of the Apostille Convention (such as Cuba) or for certain documents that otherwise can’t be apostilled fall under the purview of the Uruguayan Department of State located in Montevideo.

- Obtaining the required Uruguayan documents.
- Certifications from the Uruguayan Supreme Court, the Department of Health, the Department of Education, etc (if applicable).
- Third party authorization form.
- ID photocopies.
- Submission of documents and information updates.
- Interpreting and scheduling assistance with local offices.
- Free attainment of Uruguayan background check from the National Forensic Department (only available to owners of a Uruguayan ID card).
